Father Mikolaj Bogdan Socha was born June 22,
1963 in Bilgoraj, Poland. He is the oldest of three
children of Janina and Bronislaw Socha.
He was admitted to the Pauline Order in September 1986. On June 12, 1993 he was
ordained at the Jasna Gora, Czestochowa,Poland at the hands of His Excellency, Archbishop
Stanislaw Nowak.
On February 18, 1998, following the orders of the then current Father General,
he left Poland for his new assignment in America.
Over the more than 10 years spent in the United States, Father Mikolaj served eight (8) years in American Częstochowa
, PA
After ten years of work at American Czestochowa,
PA, on October 2006, Father Mikolaj was transferred
to work as Pastor at St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church in New York
City.
Fr. Michał
Czyżewski, OSPPE - Associate
Father Michał Jan Czyżewski
was born August 18, 1978 in Opoczno, Poland. After
graduating from the School of Economics in Lipiny, he
entered the novitiate of the Pauline Fathers in Lesniów,
Poland in 1997. He made his first profession on September 8, 1998 and perpetual
vows March 25, 2002. He studied five years at the Pauline Seminary in Skałka, Kraków. During his
studies he undertook many pastoral initiatives such as: teaching catechism to
the handicapped, worked as a volunteer to the terminally ill at St. Lazarus
Hospice in Kraków, and was also active in the Order’s
missionary works. In his last year of preparation for ordination he attended
Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, CT.
Father Michał was ordained by His Eminence,
Justin Cardinal Rigali, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Doylestown, PA, on May 29, 2004. His
first assignment after ordination was pastoral work at the Shrine.
On February 1, 2005, Father Michał was
transferred to work as Associate Pastor at St. Stanisalus
Bishop and Martyr in New York City. Father Michał
teaches religion to the children on Saturdays.
